is a joint venture between LG Chemical,
the leading Chemical Company in Asia and The Dow Chemical Company,
the largest Chemical Company in the world.
LG-DOW was formed in early 1999. Almost 2 ¨ö years later, on July 1st, 2001,
LG-DOW celebrated the successful start-up of the LG-DOW polycarbonate plant in Yeosu, Korea,
and the transfer of Dow's polycarbonate market franchise in Asia Pacific.

With a second train being commissioned in September 2007, LG-DOW total output capacity is 170,000 metric tons per annum.
LG-DOW has introduced higher quality products for applications in CD-ROM, LCD panels, high purity films and 19-litre bottles.
